Mount Roraima

A novel launched in 1912 under the title The Lost World. Was first filmed in 1925. The work of famous writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with regard to an expedition to the highlands plateau in South America in Venezuela territory where prehistoric animal still survive.

The Lost World is a science fiction story that  is very famous in his time, even have reproduced several times.

Plato Mount Roraima ( also known as Roraima Tepui or Cerro Roraima in Spanish, and Monte Roraima in Portuguese ), is the highest of the Pakairamachain of tepui plateux in South America. " Low scanty and bristling vegetation " is also found in the small, sandy marshes that intersperse the rocky summit. Most of the nutrients that are present in the soil are washed away by torrents that cascade over the edge, forming some of the highest waterfalls in the world.
